After an initial assessment, students are placed in the program that best fits their learning needs and family goals. Both programs include individualized instruction — the difference is the level and purpose of support.

Foundational Support

Core Skills

Targeted, intervention-based instruction designed to strengthen foundational skills in reading, writing, or math. Sessions follow a structured progression focused on skill gaps and long-term mastery — independent of daily classroom lessons.

Best for students who need targeted support building the foundational skills that underlie long-term academic success.

Curriculum-Connected

Keep Up & Excel

Specialized instruction aligned with classroom curriculum and grade-level expectations. Sessions are planned around upcoming lessons, assignments, and assessments to help students access their curriculum successfully.

Best for students who struggle to understand, keep up with, or fully access grade-level curriculum — whether it affects one subject or several.

  • Have a history of struggling academically despite genuine effort
  • Learn differently and have difficulty succeeding with traditional teaching methods
  • Suspect a learning difference or have a family history of dyslexia, ADHD, or learning challenges

Scheduling & Policies

A small practice built on consistency.

Charm City Classroom works with a small number of enrolled families. Sessions are scheduled in advance and reserved exclusively for each student. Families are asked to maintain a consistent schedule to ensure instruction remains effective and uninterrupted. Scheduling follows a quarterly cadence, giving families the flexibility to make adjustments at the start of each new quarter as needed.

  • Services are billed monthly
  • Families are asked to provide at least 48 hours notice when a session cannot be attended
  • Virtual sessions are an option to allow flexibility for families
